Road Weather Layer

The Road Weather Layer displays observational data of the GMAs and forecasts of AutoSWIS and describes the status of roads and highways.

Road meteorological data is displayed in the form of plot elements and plot element groups in a similar manner as in the Surface Data Layer.

News

  1. First NinJo 10 version is scheduled for March 2025.
  2. NinJo 9.1 has been released in June 2024, about four months after release of NinJo 9.0.
  3. NinJo infrastructure is being used in the European Forecasting and Collaboration System (EuFoCS) for collaborative chart editing.
  4. NinJo runs on Cloud infrastructure to be used from German Universities and for Training purposes.
  5. NinJo has received the EMS Technology Award for significant technology achievements and innovations in the field of meteorology and earth observation in 2018.
